All files, text, images, videos, and other data ("Content") you upload to your Capsules. We treat this Content as highly sensitive. While our service ensures its storage, we do not access or analyze your encrypted Content unless required for support or legal obligations. You are responsible for the Content you upload.

c. Financial Data

If you subscribe to a paid plan or enable Inheritance Royalties, we may collect data related to your payment, such as your payment method details (collected by our payment processor, Stripe) and your designated recipient wallet address for royalty payouts.

d. Derivative Data

Information our servers automatically collect when you access the Service, such as your IP address, your browser type, your operating system, your access times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the Service to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Provide the core Service, including the permanent storage of your Content on the Arweave network.
• Process payments and fulfill subscriptions.
• Manage royalty payouts to your designated recipients.
• Notify you and/or your designated recipients based on the unlock conditions you set.
• Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience with the Service.
• Prevent fraudulent transactions, monitor against theft, and protect against criminal activity.

We do not share your personal information or Capsule Content with third parties except in the circumstances described below:

• By Law or to Protect Rights: If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others, we may share your information as permitted or required by any applicable law, rule, or regulation.
• Third-Party Service Providers: We may share your information with third parties that perform services for us or on our behalf, including payment processing (Stripe), data storage (Arweave), and cloud hosting.
• Public Capsules: If you designate a Capsule as public, the Content within it may become accessible to the public after its unlock conditions are met, especially if royalties are enabled.
• Business Transfers: We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.

4. Data Storage, Security, and Permanence

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.

Crucially, you acknowledge that by using our Service, your Capsule Content is committed to the Arweave network, a decentralized and permanent data storage solution. Once data is on Arweave, it cannot be deleted or altered by anyone, including us. This is a core feature of the Service. Account termination does not and cannot lead to the deletion of this permanently stored data.

5. Your Rights and Choices

You may at any time review or change the information in your account or terminate your account. Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate your account and information from our active databases. However, some information may be retained in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, and/or enforce our Terms of Service. As stated above, Content committed to Arweave cannot be removed.

6. Policy for Children

We do not knowingly solicit information from or market to children under the age of 13. If you become aware of any data we have collected from children under age 13, please contact us using the contact information provided below.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date of this Privacy Policy.
