Welcome to Forev3rLock ("we," "us," or "our"). We provide a digital time capsule service that allows users to create, store, and manage digital legacies, including files, messages, and unique unlocking conditions (the "Service"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, services, and applications.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. The Service

Forev3rLock provides a platform for creating digital "Capsules." You can upload digital content, including documents, photos, videos, and messages ("Content"). You are solely responsible for the Content you upload and the consequences of sharing it.

a. Permanent Storage

We utilize the Arweave protocol to ensure the permanent storage of your Capsule Content. You acknowledge that "permanent" storage is subject to the continued operation and viability of the underlying Arweave network. We are not responsible for failures of the Arweave network. Once Content is committed to Arweave, it cannot be altered or deleted.

b. Unlock Conditions

You can set various conditions for your Capsule to be unlocked, including a specific future date, the attainment of a certain age by a recipient, or a "Dead Man's Switch" triggered by verified proof of your passing. You are responsible for accurately configuring these conditions.

c. Inheritance Royalties

If you enable the Inheritance Royalties feature, you can set a price for public access to your Capsule after its primary unlock conditions are met. We will facilitate the collection of these fees and their distribution to your designated recipient wallet address, subject to a service fee as detailed on our Plans page.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information to register for an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. User Content and Conduct

You retain all ownership rights to your Content. However, by uploading Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service.

You agree not to upload any Content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to remove any Content that violates these Terms.

5. Fees and Payment

Certain features of the Service may require payment. All fees are described on our Plans page. We may change our fees and payment policies from time to time, and we will provide you with reasonable notice of any such changes.

6. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. Please note that terminating your account will not result in the deletion of Content already committed to the Arweave network. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, including for violation of these Terms.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL ALWAYS BE SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT IT WILL FUNCTION WITHOUT DISRUPTIONS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL FOREV3RLOCK BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which our company is based, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
